Shep Pettibone (1959 -) Robert E. Pettibone, Jr. is a record producer, remixer, songwriter and club DJ, one of the most prolific of the 1980s. Paul Van Dyk (1971 -) a trance DJ who earned DJMag's top 100 DJ list No. 1 DJ award in 2005 and again in 2006. He was an apprentice carpenter before he became a DJ.

Darude (1975 -), Originally from Finland. Widely known as having the #1 dance track of all time with "Sandstorm." Has had several global #1 hits, and was the first electronic dance DJ to be featured live on MTV Spring Break.
