August 28th, 2010 admin My boyfriend's looking to spend a year or so in the States. He works quite successfully as a young Carpenter (Zimmerman) in Germany, but doesn't speak English well. He has no other job experience except working in a Super Market and no University education.
Any kind of internship or training program would also be great to know about.
try lancaster area ?! many of the Amish speak German, or something close to it anyway.
quite a bit of very good woodworking there.
